Amalapuram: Indian News Times:Allada Swaminayudu, Chairman of the Amalapuram Urban Development Authority (AMUDA), grandly unveiled the promotional brochure for the Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations organized by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Amalapuram, the headquarters of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.
On this occasion, ISKCON representatives shared details about the festivities. The celebrations are set to take place with great grandeur at the Sri Madan Gopal Bhajan Kutir premises, located on the Bhakti Vedanta Marg.
September 4, Friday (Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival):
Special prayers for Sri Krishna, the *Utti Utsavam* (pot-breaking ceremony), and *Bhajan Sankirtans* (devotional singing) will be held throughout the day.
At 10:30 AM: Prize distribution to school students who excelled in various competitions held for Janmashtami, presented by prominent figures.
Sriman Satya Gopinath Prabhuji, President of ISKCON Rajahmundry (TIC), will participate as the chief guest.
September 5, Saturday (Vyasa Puja Festival):
The 130th Vyasa Puja (appearance day celebration) of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON. At 1:00 PM: Distribution of 'Maha Anna Prasadam' (sanctified food) to devotees.
The organizers have invited devotees to participate in large numbers in these spiritual festivities and receive the grace of Sri Krishna.
Karri Dattudu, Chollangi Sai Babu, Edida Srinu, Chinta Sankara Murthy, Kankatala Ramam, Mandela Bobby, Jampana Suman Varma, Nadimpalli Udaya Babu, Pichuka Shyam, Subbalakshmi, Mulaparthi Venkata Ramana, and others were present at the brochure launch.
