Visakhaptnam: Indian News Times:Shri Lalit Bohra, DRM/VSKP, inspected the Divisional P.Way Training Centre at Visakhapatnam and interacted with trainees, enquiring about training facilities and working conditions at field units.
During the safety seminar, he reviewed Automatic Block Signalling procedures, safety precautions during engineering works, track maintenance duties and measures to prevent hazards. He emphasized that staff must strictly follow safety procedures and never take shortcuts.
Interacting with trackmen and track women, the DRM highlighted their crucial role in ensuring railway safety and discussed challenges faced in the field. He assured that efforts would be made to reduce the beat length by 20 km, thereby reducing the workload and working hours of trackmen as far as possible.
