Visakhapatnam :Indian News Times:August 27, 2026: Shri Lalit Bohra, DRM, Visakhapatnam Division, South Coast Railway, conducted a detailed inspection of Bobbili and Parvathipuram Railway Stations on 27.08.2026, accompanied by all Branch Officers, in connection with the ongoing Station Development Activities under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).
During the inspection, Shri Bohra reviewed the progress of various station development works and assessed the facilities being created to provide improved amenities and a better travel experience for passengers. He inspected the ongoing infrastructure works and emphasized the need for close coordination among all departments to ensure quality execution and timely completion of the development activities.
The DRM also reviewed various aspects relating to passenger amenities, station accessibility, circulating areas, cleanliness, safety and overall infrastructure development. He interacted with the concerned officers and issued necessary instructions for expediting the works while maintaining the prescribed standards of quality and safety.
The comprehensive inspection reflects the continued commitment of South Coast Railway and Visakhapatnam Division towards transforming railway stations into modern, passenger-friendly facilities under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, with a focus on enhanced convenience, accessibility and improved travel experience for passengers.
