Allavaram: Indian News Times :Distressed by the disappearance of seven fishermen who had ventured out to sea, their family members approached Fishermen's Corporation Chairman Kollu Peddiraju, State Corporation Director Lanka Bhimaraju, and
former Fishermen's Association President Pemmadi Saibabu to express their anguish. The leaders subsequently met Dr. Ravirala Mahesh Kumar, the District Collector of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, to apprise him of the situation. After gathering details about the missing fishermen from the affected families, the leaders urged them to remain strong and hopeful.
Speaking on the occasion, Karri Peddiraju noted that it had been over 15 days since the fishermen went to sea without any trace. He stated that the matter was brought to the
attention of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who responded immediately by directing key officials—as well as the Coast Guard, Navy, and ONGC—to locate the missing fishermen.
