GM SCoR REVIEWS SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE PRACTICES*


Visakhaptnam:Indian News Times:General Manager, South Coast Railway, Shri Sandeep Mathur, held a Safety Review Meeting today with the Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all four divisions and Principal Heads of Departments (PHODs).


The meeting focused on strengthening safety across the Zone with particular emphasis on adopting better maintenance practices for railway assets and infrastructure. Shri Sandeep Mathur reviewed the maintenance practices being followed across the divisions and stressed the need for proactive and preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of railway operations.


The General Manager advised the officials to maintain close monitoring of critical assets, identify potential issues well in advance and take timely corrective measures.  DRMs and PHODs reviewed the safety-related performance of their respective areas and discussed measures to further improve maintenance standards and operational efficiency across South Coast Railway.

Shri Sandeep Mathur reiterated that safety remains the highest priority of South Coast Railway, and all officials and staff must remain vigilant and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.
