In view of the registration of 2 dengue cases in Bhim Nagar and Allipuram areas, Shri. Varaprasad Reddy, District Malaria Officer and B. Nagabhushan Rao Assistant Malaria Officer and their staff have urgently visited the places and taken the following disease prevention measures.

 


Visakhapatnam:Indian News Times:About 100 houses around the house where the disease was registered were inspected and about 15 areas where larvae were found were dewormed.

Indoor residual spraying was done in the house infected with dengue and surrounding houses

Anti-larvae drugs were sprayed in the open drainA fever survey was conducted in the surrounding houses and the measures to be taken to protect against insect-borne diseases and to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs in the areas around the house, and the importance of Dry Day Friday was explained with the help of pamphlets.

Mosquito larvae were shown live and awareness was created.Appropriate instructions were given to the staff regarding fever survey and anti-larvae operations.Local ANM, ASHA, GVC staff, health assistants Murali and Ganesh are continuing this program...Local people are volunteering in this program..
