Visakhaptnam Indian News Times:To celebrate the 80th Independence Day on a grand scale, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is in full swing across all divisions of the South Coast Railway (SCoR) zone. As part of the festivities, various patriotic programs, cultural events, and competitions for schoolchildren and the wards of railway employees are being organized across the zone.


Marking the occasion, the South Coast Railway Headquarters organized a vibrant and spirited Bike Rally to spread the message of "Ghar Ghar Tiranga – Har Dil Tiranga". The rally was officially flagged off from the Zonal Headquarters (The Deck Building) by Shri Sandeep Mathur, General Manager, South Coast Railway. Shri LVVS Patrudu, Principal Chief Personnel Officer (PCPO), Shri Shri AK Sinha The Inspector General-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner (PCSC), Shri Balaji Kiran, Deputy General Manager (DGM) cum Secretary to GM and CPRO and other senior branch officers and railway personnel took part in the rally. 

The bike rally was led by Shri Ankush    Gupta, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction), DIG Shri MS Suneel, while Shri Shahabaaz Hanoor , Deputy CPO guided the convoy along the route. Over 200 enthusiastic railway employees volunteered and participated in the rally, chanting patriotic slogans and holding the National Tricolour high.


For the first time, South Coast Railway will host its Independence Day celebrations at the Railway Cricket Stadium, Thatichetlapalem, on August 15, starting from 08:45 AM. The main event will feature: Ceremonial Flag Hoisting and Parade; Grand Cultural Performances;    Dog Show by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Felicitations and  

South Coast Railway appeals to the public and the railway fraternity to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga movement and hoist the National Flag with pride and honor.
