DRM Reviews Electrical Loco Shed

Visakhapatnam -Indian News Times -Shri Lalit Bohra, DRM, Visakhapatnam Division, inspected the Electrical Loco Shed and reviewed its performance. He inaugurated three key facilities:

Electronic Module Repair Lab – for repair and testing of IGBT modules used in electric locomotives.

Electric Loco Paint Booth – dedicated facility for loco body painting during major schedules, ensuring a cleaner maintenance environment.

Laser Metal Engraving Machine – for permanent marking of bearing details, helping track bearing life and performance.

The initiatives strengthen modern maintenance practices, reliability and workplace efficiency.
