EXTENSION OF WEEKLY SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN SERVICES BETWEEN VISAKHAPATNAM–SMVT BENGALURU AND SHALIMAR–CHARLAPALLI*

 Visakhapatnam -South Coast Railway has decided to extend the services of the Visakhapatnam–SMVT Bengaluru–Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Express trains (Train Nos. 08581/08582) for additional 9 trips to facilitate the travelling requirements of passengers.

*VISAKHAPATNAM–SMVT BENGALURU WEEKLY SPECIAL EXPRESS*

Train No. 08581 Visakhapatnam–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 15:20 hrs every Friday from 02 October 2026 to 27 November 2026, and will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 13:50 hrs on the following day. The train will make a total of 9 trips.

In the return direction, Train No. 08582 SMVT Bengaluru–Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Express will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 15:50 hrs every Saturday from 03 October 2026 to 28 November 2026, and will reach Visakhapatnam at 13:30 hrs on the following day. The train will make a total of 9 trips.

The trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Yelamanchili, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Kuppam, Bangarpet and Krishnarajapuram stations between Visakhapatnam and SMVT Bengaluru.

The train will comprise 1 Second AC Coach, 1 Third AC Coach, 4 Third AC Economy Coaches, 6 Sleeper Class Coaches, 4 General Second Class Coaches, 1 Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum-Divyangjan Coach and 1 Generator Motor Car.

*CONTINUATION OF SHALIMAR–CHARLAPALLI WEEKLY SPECIAL EXPRESS*

The services of Train Nos. 08045/08046 Shalimar–Charlapalli–Shalimar Weekly Special Express will continue for additional 9 trips from 02 October 2026 to 28 November 2026.

Train No. 08045 Shalimar–Charlapalli Weekly Special Express will leave Shalimar at 00:30 hrs every Friday from 02 October 2026 to 27 November 2026. The train will reach Duvvada at 17:08 hrs and depart at 17:10 hrs, before reaching Charlapalli at 04:30 hrs on the following day. A total of 9 trips will be operated.

In the return direction, Train No. 08046 Charlapalli–Shalimar Weekly Special Express will leave Charlapalli at 06:55 hrs every Saturday from 03 October 2026 to 28 November 2026. The train will reach Duvvada at 19:53 hrs and depart at 19:55 hrs, and will reach Shalimar at 11:15 hrs on the following day. A total of 9 trips will be operated.

The Train Nos. 08045/08046 will comprise 3 Second AC Coaches, 3 Third AC Coaches, 12 Sleeper Class Coaches, 4 General Second Class Coaches and 2 Second Class-cum-Luggage Rakes, totalling 24 coaches.

Passengers are requested to make use of these special train services and plan their journeys accordingly.
