GM SCOR REVIEWS SAFETY, PUNCTUALITY AND CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS* Focus on Level Crossing Gate Closures, ROB/RUB Construction and Timely Clearance of ESP & SIP
Visakhaptnam :Indian News Times:General Manager, South Coast Railway, Shri Sandeep Mathur, today reviewed key operational and infrastructure priorities during a meeting with the Principal Heads of Departments (PHODs) and Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all four Divisions of South Coast Railway.
The meeting focused on strengthening safety and punctuality across the Zone and expediting important infrastructure works. General Manager reviewed the progress of closure of Level Crossing (LC) gates, with emphasis on taking up suitable alternatives and ensuring timely completion of the associated works.
Progress of Rail Over Bridge (ROB) and Rail Under Bridge (RUB) construction works was also reviewed in detail. Shri Sandeep Mathur directed the concerned officials to closely monitor the progress of these projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to overcome bottlenecks and expedite their completion.General Manager further reviewed the status of Engineering Scale Plans (ESP) and Signalling Interlocking Plans (SIP) and stressed the need for timely clearance of these plans to facilitate smooth execution, completion and commissioning of the related works within the stipulated timelines.
