Inspection of VSKP Major Upgradation Works – West Side Building

Visakhapatnam -Indian News Times -Today, an inspection of the major upgradation works at VSKP West Side Building was conducted by Shri Lalit Bohra, DRM along with CE/Construction and all concerned Branch Officers.

During the inspection, the following aspects were reviewed and discussed:

1. Temporary Traffic circulation plan and regulation of vehicular movement.

2. Alternate Passenger movement plan from the entry point to the exit, ensuring smooth and hassle-free movement.

3. Parking facilities and their proper integration with the temporary  circulation plan.

4. Dismantling of old buildings/structures and the associated safety and operational requirements.

5. Barricading of construction areas to safely segregate the work site from passenger pathways.

6. Provision of proper and safe pathways for passengers to facilitate hassle-free movement during the construction period.

7. Status of the West Side Building, including the progress and present condition of various floor

Necessary directions were issued to the concerned officers to ensure proper coordination, passenger safety, uninterrupted circulation and timely progress of the major upgradation works.
