Visakhapatnam- Indian News Times -On 18.09.2026, Dr. P. Jagadeeswara Rao, District Medical and Health Officer, Visakhapatnam, visited the Bhimili Urban Health Centre and provided a detailed explanation regarding the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' and 'Sanjeevani' programs.
He reviewed the medical and health staff's performance concerning public perception and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics. He also inspected the ongoing 'Dry Day-Friday' program. Subsequently, he conducted a review covering various aspects, including the monitoring of hospital service delivery via IVRS, EHR (Electronic Health Records), ABHA ID registration, RBSK services, OP and IP services, laboratory testing, medicine availability, and FRS-based attendance.
He instructed the staff to maintain the premises of the Urban Health Centre in a clean and hygienic condition.
Dr. B. Umavathi (DPMO-NHM), the Urban Health Centre medical officers, Assistant Malaria Officer Sri B. Nagabhushanam, and the health centre staff participated in this visit.
