Visakhapatnam- Indian News Times -The Sub-District Level Multi-Member Appropriate Authority and Advisory Committee on Fetal Gender Determination Committee meeting was held under the
chairmanship of Sangeetha Madhur RDO, Bhimili, Visakhapatnam in the chamber of Bhimili RDO, District Collector's office. Dr. B Umavathi, DPMO and Nodal Officer, invited all the committee members and addressed the meeting and informed that all the scanning centers in Bhimili have been inspected and appropriate instructions have been given, and these inspections will be done every three months.
The RDO, while addressing, directed that all the scanning centers should be inspected at the appropriate time and decoy operations should be done regularly. He directed that IEC programs should be conducted regularly in all the areas where the ratio of unborn children is low and awareness should be created there with the slogan that fetal sex determination is a crime under the law. He directed that the registers in the scanning center should be thoroughly examined when visiting the center.
