Resolving Journalists' Issues Under the Alliance Government** **Solution for Housing Site Issues Coming Soon** **Government Committed to Journalists' Welfare: MLA Vamsikrishna Srinivas** **Clay Ganesha Idols, Ritual Manuals, Saplings, and Sweets Distributed to 700 Journalists**

Asilmetta- Junction, Visakhapatnam Indian News Times -September 12**MLA Vamsikrishna Srinivas stated that the government is working with sincerity to resolve the issues faced by journalists across the state. He assured that efforts would be made to address concerns regarding their welfare, including the provision of housing sites. The government maintains a positive stance regarding the welfare of journalists, who serve as a bridge between society, the public, and the government.

On the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, celebrations for journalists were held grandly on Sunday at Vemana Mandiram, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation, the AP Broadcast Association, and the Small and Medium Newspapers Association. MLA Vamsikrishna Srinivas attended as the chief guest and distributed clay Ganesha idols, ritual manuals (Vrata Kalpa books), flowering and fruit-bearing saplings, and sweets to the journalists. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA urged everyone to act responsibly towards environmental conservation.  He described the distribution of clay Vinayaka idols as a commendable initiative and praised the effort to celebrate the Vinayaka Chavithi festival in an eco-friendly manner. He congratulated the journalists for their large-scale participation and for making the event a success. Vamsikrishna Srinivas urged journalists to bring issues requiring government attention to his notice, assuring them of his full cooperation in resolving them. He advocated for the provision of housing plots, pensions, health security, and other welfare schemes for journalists.

Speaking as the guest of honor, Chelluboyina Narsingarao, head of the CNR Group, lauded the exemplary role journalists play in serving society. He pledged to assist in their welfare to the best of his ability. Noting his own continuous involvement in various service activities, he expressed his desire for everyone to help others within their means. He acknowledged the support he received from many people—including numerous journalists—on his journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur, stating that he considers this a stroke of good fortune.

Presiding over the meeting, Gantla Srinubabu—Secretary of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and a state leader of the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation—affirmed that the struggle to resolve the issues faced by journalists in the state would continue unabated. He stated that they would exert pressure on the government to ensure that the core problems faced by journalists are addressed during the tenure of the current alliance government.  Assurances were given that efforts would be made at the government level to allocate housing plots to journalists soon.

On the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, priority was given to environmental and cultural preservation by distributing clay Ganesha idols, ritual guidebooks (*Vrata Kalpana*), flowers, fruit-bearing saplings, and sweets to journalists. Journalists from various media organizations turned out in large numbers.
