Visakhapatnam- Indian News Times -September 7, 2026:Sri Dola Tirumala Rao assumed charge today as the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, North Coast, at Visakhapatnam, today.
The North Coast region comprises Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR), Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam and Srikakulam districts.
In addition to his responsibilities as Chief Engineer, North Coast, Sri Dola Tirumala Rao *will also be looking after the Quality Control of the Polavaram Project.*
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Dola Tirumala Rao called upon all engineers and staff to work as a team and serve society with utmost sincerity, devotion and commitment.
He emphasised that teamwork, coordination, dedication and commitment are essential for effectively discharging the responsibilities of the Water Resources Department and serving the people. He urged everyone to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication, keeping public welfare as the foremost objective.
On the occasion, Sri B. Srihari, Deputy Chief Engineer; Sri P. Appalanaidu, Superintending Engineer; Sri H. Manmadha Rao, Superintending Engineer; Sri R. Ramachandra Rao, Superintending Engineer; Sri Sitaram Naidu, Deputy Superintending Engineer; Sri B. Govindarao, Executive Engineer; Sri V. Ganniraju, Executive Engineer; and Deputy Exevutive Engineers Ms.Lavanya Priyadarshini, Sri Ganesh, Sri Ramanamurthy; Sri Appala Naidu, Ms.Padmaja along with other engineers, officials and staff, greeted Sri Dola Tirumala Rao and conveyed their best wishes on his assuming charge as the chief engineer.
