Visakhapatnam Division Launches Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Campaign

Visakhapatnam-Indian News Times -Division of South Coast Railway launched the “Swachhata Hi Seva 2026” campaign today, marking the beginning of a series of cleanliness and awareness activities to be undertaken from 17th September to 2nd October 2026.

As part of the campaign, Shri Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, Shri E. Santaram, ADRM (Infra), Shri K. Rama Rao, ADRM (Operations), along with Branch Officers and staff, participated in the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining cleanliness at railway stations, offices, colonies and other railway premises.

The campaign is being organised under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag – Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, encouraging active participation of railway employees and the public in creating a cleaner and greener environment.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Lalit Bohra, DRM, urged all staff working at the DRM Office to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in their respective workplaces. He emphasised that a clean and well-maintained office not only provides a better working environment but also creates a positive impression of the Railways among visitors and members of the public.

The campaign will witness various cleanliness, awareness and environmental activities across Visakhapatnam Division, reinforcing the message that cleanliness is a collective responsibility and an integral part of providing better railway services.
