## **Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and CCRH Sign Landmark MoU to Propel Integrative Research in Homoeopathy

VIJAYAWADA, 15 October 2026** — In a historic milestone for medical research and education in Andhra Pradesh, **Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS)**, Vijayawada, and the **Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH)**, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at the University campus.

The MoU was formally signed by **Dr. Subhash Kaushik**, Director General, CCRH, and **Dr. T. Sai Sudheer**, Registrar, Dr. NTRUHS, in the distinguished presence of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, **Dr. P. Chandra Sekhar**.

### **Fostering Cross-Disciplinary & Integrative Healthcare**

Dr. NTRUHS serves as the umbrella university for 536 health science institutions across Andhra Pradesh, offering 133 specialized courses spanning Modern Medicine, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy, Nursing, and Physiotherapy.

This 5-year partnership creates a dynamic platform for homoeopathic institutions to collaborate directly with multidisciplinary medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh. In alignment with the Government of India’s vision for integrative medicine, joint research will explore:

* **Complementary Therapeutics:** Evaluating Homoeopathy alongside Allopathy and AYUSH streams for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

* **Interdisciplinary Applications:** Exploring homoeopathic integrations within Dental Medicine, Physiotherapy, and specialized Nursing protocols.

* **Evidence-Based Models:** Conducting clinical studies to evaluate diverse treatment permutations and therapeutic outcomes.

### **Key Scope of the Agreement**

Valid for five years with provision for renewal, the agreement establishes a framework for collaborative development across healthcare, public health, life sciences, and social sciences:

1. **Resource & Expertise Sharing:** Joint utilization of state-of-the-art research infrastructure and clinical expertise.

2. **National Health Priorities:** Collaborative research projects targeting critical public health concerns.

3. **Academic Exchange:** Joint organization of national/international seminars, workshops, capacity-building programs, and training modules.

4. **Institutional Support:** Developing project-specific protocols detailing study design, funding, and clinical execution.
