GVPIHLR-DTU and Bowling Green State University Sign MoU for International Academic Collaboration

Visakhapatnam  :Indian News Times:October 3:The Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Higher Learning and Research – Deemed to be University (GVPIHLR-DTU), Visakhapatnam, and Bowling Green State University (BGSU), USA, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen international academic collaboration.

The MoU will facilitate student and faculty exchanges, joint research and publications, collaborative teaching, conferences, seminars, workshops, internships, innovation, industry–academia collaboration, joint projects and capacity-building programmes.

The programme was attended by GVPIHLR-DTU Vice-Chancellor and GVPIHLR Trust President Sri D. Dakshinamurthy, Vice-Presidents Prof. K.P.R. Sastry and Prof. B. Subbarao, Secretary Prof. P. Somaraju, Treasurer Prof. Raja Ganapathi, Trust Member Prof. V.S.R.K. Prasad, Deans, HoDs, faculty members and university officials.

Representing BGSU, Dr. Ravi, Provost; Dr. Ram Veerapaneni, Vice Provost; and Dr. Tracy Hidalgo, Director – International Programs & Partnerships, participated in the programme.

The university representatives stated that the MoU would promote internationalisation, research, innovation, faculty development and global learning opportunities for students. They expressed the hope that the partnership would serve as a strong foundation for long-term, mutually beneficial academic cooperation.
