Visakhaptnam :Indian News Times:The District Medical and Health Officer, Visakhapatnam, announced in a statement that applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various diploma courses offered by recognized private Allied Health Care (paramedical) educational institutions in the state for the 2026-27 academic year.

Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications for the respective courses. Eligibility includes having completed Intermediate (Bi.P.C.) or meeting the specific qualification criteria laid down for the respective courses. The minimum age for admission is 17 years.

Availability of applications begins: 05-10-2026.

Last date to submit completed applications at the District Medical and Health Officer's office: 14-10-2026.

Date for completion of the admission selection process: 22-10-2025.

Last date for submission of the Government Quota selection list: 26-10-2025.

Last date for submission of the Management Quota selection list: 28-10-2026.

Last date for submission of the final selection list: 30-10-2026.

Date of commencement of classes:  31-10-2026.

**Seat Allocation**

Of the seats available in private paramedical educational institutions, 60% will be filled under the government quota, and the remaining 40% under the management quota. Government quota seats will be allocated based on candidates' qualifying examination marks, merit, and reservation norms.

**Application Process**

Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website. Along with the filled-in application, copies of the 10th-grade marks memo, Intermediate marks memo, Aadhaar card, caste certificate (if applicable), study certificates, and other relevant documents must be attached.

After paying an application fee of Rs. 100/-, the completed applications must be submitted to the Office of the District Medical and Health Officer, Visakhapatnam, by 5:00 PM on 14-10-2026. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for full details regarding courses, eligibility criteria, seat availability, reservation rules, and other information.
