Kancharla Subbalakshmi to Contest as BCY Party's Visakhapatnam Mayoral Candidate

Visakhapatnam: Subbalakshmi—wife of prominent film producer, realtor, and Kancharla Media head Kancharla Achyuta Rao—is set to enter the fray as the mayoral candidate for Visakhapatnam representing the Bharata Chaitanya Yuvajana (BCY) party. Reliable sources indicate that Kancharla Achyuta Rao is holding discussions regarding this matter with BCY State President Bode Ramachandra Yadav. Achyuta Rao has reportedly prepared a list of 120 potential corporator candidates for the Visakhapatnam Corporation and has presented this list to President Ramachandra Yadav. 

It is understood that he also outlined a comprehensive strategy and assessed the prospects of winning the Visakhapatnam mayoral election during the meeting with Yadav. Former Visakhapatnam Deputy Mayor Dadi Satyanarayana also participated in this meeting. Consequently, it appears almost certain that Kancharla Achyuta Rao's wife, Subbalakshmi, will be the party's mayoral candidate.
