Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times: The Sridevi Sharannavaratri celebrations were held with great grandeur at the Sri Shiva Ramakrishna Temple—located opposite the Town Police Station and under the purview of the Endowments Department—where the presiding deity was adorned as Sri Lalita Devi (Uma Devi). Under the guidance of Temple Executive Officer (EO) Shiva Kesava Rao, the festivities were conducted with deep devotion. Priest Bhargava Sharma performed special rituals, including *Kumkumarchana* (worship with vermilion) in accordance with the *Shaivagama* tradition, followed by *Dhupa*, *Deepa*, *Naivedya*, *Mangala Harati*, and *Mantrapushpam*. A group recitation of the *Sri Lalita Sahasranamam* was also performed by women in the temple sanctum. Following the rituals, devotees were given the opportunity for *darshan*, and *theertha-prasadam* was distributed. Notable attendees included M.V. Rajasekhar—a prominent member of the Board of Trustees, a spiritual scholar, and a member of the Hindu Dharma Parirakshana Trust—along with local women and residents from the surrounding areas.
