Araku Valley: According to reports, residents of Araku Valley are expressing their anger over the local tribal groups being given tickets in the local elections instead of outsiders, while the ruling party and opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh are deceiving the locals by giving tickets to outsiders. The local MLA has also been informed of this matter, but no action has been taken on this matter yet. The majority of the people living in the Araku area are Scheduled Tribes. The residents of the area say that bringing in outsiders and giving them tickets in the local elections is an act of deception.
