Akkayyapalem Junction, August 13: Gantla Srinubabu, Secretary of the National Journalists' Association (NJA) and a state leader of the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists' Federation, stated that education creates immense employment opportunities worldwide. In line with this,

 he distributed scholarships to the children of nine journalists at his office in Akkayyapalem on Friday. Certificates of appreciation, cash awards

, and other incentive prizes were presented to students including Ch. Amrutha Yadav (pursuing CA studies), Y.S.N.S. Likhith (10th grade), Ch. Manoj Yadav (9th grade), K. Joseph Raju (8th grade), B. Harshith Ram (4th grade), Kolli Jaiswal (LKG), S. Bhavadeep (2nd grade), S. Gunadeep (UKG), and Kolli Mahansh (2nd grade).

Speaking on the occasion, Gantla Srinubabu mentioned that they have been consistently providing scholarships to journalists' children for the past 15 years. He noted that scholarships had already been distributed to 152 children on June 28 of this year. 

 He stated that, subsequently, educational incentives were provided to another 30 children in a phased manner. He mentioned that he has been personally paying the tuition fees for four B.Tech students for the past three years. Additionally, he noted that he offers financial support to encourage students across various grade levels to the best of his ability. 

He emphasized that this initiative is free from any considerations of caste, religion, or union affiliations. Gantla Srinubabu explained that he has been conducting this program within his means for several years, with the primary objective of identifying and encouraging talent among children.

 He remarked that such educational incentives not only instill new enthusiasm in the students but also enable them to become sources of inspiration for others in the future. He expressed deep personal satisfaction in the knowledge that he would remain a cherished memory for these students, regardless of where they eventually settle—whether within the country or abroad. Both the children and their parents participated in this event.
