Lord Simhadri is supremely divine* *Major festivities a success thanks to everyone's cooperation* *Gantla fulfills his vow*
Simhachalam:Indian News Times:August 5 Gantla Srinubabu—a former member of the Simhachalam Devasthanam Board of Trustees, a special invitee, and a leader within the National Union of Journalists and the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation—stated that Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy of Simhachalam, a renowned global pilgrimage site, is a deity of immense divine power. On Wednesday morning, he fulfilled a vow by offering his hair at the 'Appanna' tonsure hall. Subsequently, he took a holy dip in the sacred 'Ganga Dhara' located to the west of the temple.
They found spiritual fulfillment after having a *darshan* of the bountiful Lord Simhadrinatha and receiving blessings from the temple priests. Speaking outside the temple on this occasion, Gantla Srinu Babu expressed that he considers his birth in Simhachalam village to be the fruit of good deeds from a past life. He mentioned that, for this reason, he fulfills a vow every year during the Lord's *Chandanotsavam* festival by offering his hair (*talanilalu*). He expressed great happiness that all the festivities—including the *Nijarupa Darshan*, *Chandanotsavam*, and *Giri Pradakshina*—were successfully concluded with everyone's cooperation.
He attributed the opportunity to participate in all these festivals—in the roles of a devotee, a donor, and a villager—to the Lord's grace and benevolence. He noted that the villagers have been participating in the Lord's festivals since childhood and added that he always prays for the Lord's blessings to be upon everyone in the world.
